A little slice of Greece on Mermaid Beach, Rafiki is more than just a café. We love their community atmosphere (which is in part due to its position below the close-knit Mermaid Beach Surf Club) and their tasty menu – not just coffees, but smoothies, toasties, acai bowls and more.
Little Mali, Coolangatta
No matter what time you hit the surf, Little Mali has something on the menu to whet your appetite. Their coffee is top notch, and they’ve got a range of breakfast items on the menu to help you refuel. Why not pick up a takeaway salad for lunch? That’s your day sorted.
For a hole in the wall, the Salt Mill is arguably the most popular café in Currumbin. And for good reason! Their acai bowls are next level, and their coffee is consistently great – two of the main criteria we look for in a post-surf pick me up. Try to get there early to beat the crowd but, if you can’t, it’s always worth the wait.
